My artistic drive
I find my drive and purpose in the equitable access to high-quality musical performance and education, through whatever genres and mediums that students and audiences find meaningful and engaging. As a horn player, I invite audiences and students into classical performance spaces through performance, research-backed educational practice, and intentional programming of living composers. So much of my own love and appreciation for classical music (both listening and performing) came from seeking out as many performances of as many different kinds of music as I could, and I feel that the future of music depends on creating experiences that are culturally relevant, and artistically meaningful, and collectively engaging.

Engaging with the community through music
Beyond the stage, I am deeply committed to sharing the joy of music through teaching and community engagement. I proudly serve as a teaching artist with the Paterson Music Project and the Cape Symphony. These roles allow me to inspire the next generation of musicians and connect with audiences of all sizes and ages, whether in group or private lesson settings.
